We are seeking a dedicated and diligent technician who will be responsible for carrying out onsite installations and provide support and servicing of energy management systems, building management systems and access controls. The technician will report to the Head of Projects and Engineering and is required to:
- Carry out onsite installations of energy and building management systems and access control systems.
- Plan daily travel schedule and supplies required for installations.
- Conduct on-site tests and resolve problems.
- Troubleshoot faults, provide support and perform preventive maintenance.
- Compile necessary documentation on service calls and installations through proper systems and reports.
- Investigate complaints and identify solutions.
- Travel on international projects when required.
Desired skills and qualifications:
- Technical proficiency in installing and maintaining systems, including IoT devices and energy management equipment.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, particularly with troubleshooting, diagnostics, and resolving system malfunctions.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with team members and clients.
- Relevant technical certifications or a background in engineering, energy management, or a related field.
- Electrical Licence A and/or B would be considered a strong asset.
- Flexibility to travel to client sites as needed.
- In possession of a valid driver’s license and passport.
